Who We Are
We’re Anneka and Sam, a husband-and-wife game design team living in beautiful Portland, Oregon. We love exploring, tea, our cat Hestia, and of course, board games.
In 2021, we began creating the world of Arivale — a wondrous archipelago where airships crisscross the skies, meteor showers give birth to new islands, and there are as many varieties of magic as there are types of flowers.
With help from dear friends and talented writers and artists, we’ve been refining and developing Arivale ever since. Bloomhunter is the first board game in the setting, but there’s plenty more to discover.
